Young People and Volunteering: A Series of Tip Sheets
This is a series of tip sheets developed and supported by Youth Affairs Victoria
They provide information for community
organisations and groups to better enable them to involve young people
as volunteers.
The series also includes information sheets for young people about
volunteering and how to get started as a volunteer as well as an
information sheet for parents about youth volunteering.
If you are looking for volunteers for your organisation Volunteering Geelong can assist your search. Firstly, you are required to register your organisation by completing the Registration form. Then you can complete Volunteer Position Description forms for each opportunity you would like to list.
Forms are listed below. These can be faxed, posted or emailed.
Organisations becoming a financial member of Volunteering Geelong assist us to promote and develop volunteering in the region. Please find the Membership Application Form attached.
Financial members also have the opportunity to feature their organisation on our website and promote their volunteer vacancies.
If you have any volunteer vacancies registered with us, please remember to provide an update if there have been any changes. If you would like to register a volunteer vacancy with us, complete the Volunteer Position Description form which you can download from the ‘Need a Volunteer” area.
