Volunteering Geelong (previously known as the Geelong Volunteer Resource Centre), is an independent not-for-profit organisation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the community, through the promotion and support of volunteering.

Volunteering Geelong was established in 1998 through the identification, by a number of individuals and members of the Geelong Volunteer Network (GVN), of the need for a "one stop shop" for volunteer recruitment and support.

Currently approximately 210 community organisations are registered with Volunteering Geelong, advertising the vacancies of approximately 400 volunteer positions.

Like an “employment agency” for volunteers – anyone interested in volunteering can make an appointment with an Information Officer who will endeavour to assist the potential volunteer find a suitable position.
