This area has been established to support Volunteer Managers and Coordinators. The resources will be constantly updated to ensure that the latest information, research and tools are available to support this profession. The National Standards for Involving Volunteers in Not-For-Profit Organisations are referred to throughout this area to promote a model of best practice in volunteer involvement. The Standards represent the main activities that typically occur in organisations that involve volunteers. There are 8 elements:- 1. Policies and Procedures 2. Management Responsibility 3. Region), Volunteering Geelong have developed the Leading with Standards
Program which promotes a model of best practice in volunteer involvement
based on the National Standards for Involving Volunteers. The Leading
with Standards Program assists an organisation to implement these
