Volunteering for special events is an alternative to volunteering on a regular basis. Volunteering on a regular basis can be challenging as it may not fit with other commitments and lifestyle so special event volunteering could be a great alternative.
Volunteers are vital when it comes to events. They can be involved in the event management, support planned activities on the day, help keep everyone entertained or generally organised. It might be a sporting event like the Corporate Head of the River, a fun run, a cycling event or a charity golf day. It might be a festival or other awareness raising or fundraising event for a community organisation.
