Selection Panel
The Selection Panel consists of representatives nominated by both Kardinia Rotary Club and Volunteering Geelong.
Following the close of nominations, panel members review all submissions and are required to declare any actual, perceived or potential conflicts of interest. Where a conflict exists, the panel member will excuse themselves from the assessment of that nomination.
The Selection Panel’s decisions are final and are not subject to review or appeal.

minded members.
The most common reported motivation among Volunteers is “to help others” (62%). Other motivations were “to give back to those who’ve helped me”, and “to support and learn more about a cause”.
Programs
Volunteering Geelong works with local groups and organisations across Geelong and Colac to deliver programs that support people with specific needs. Many of these initiatives assist those in lower socio-economic areas, indigenous communities, people with a disability, and new migrants.
These programs are made possible through the generosity of volunteers who share their time, skills, and knowledge.
